I don't often write reviews but the pontoon boat rail mount I recently purchased greatly exceeded my expectations. The unit was perfectly constructed and fit the boat like a glove, positioning my fish finder securely right where I want it. I have already recommended you guys to several people inquiring where I got the mount. Impressive product.

I recently purchased two (2) Pontoon Down-rigger Mounts for my new Suntracker Sportfish 22 XP3. Today I finished installing both mounts, took about an hour a piece (most of that time was fit checking) as once you settle on the correct spot, you simply tighten six (6) hex head bolts and your done! I used the two extra bolts on the side of the mount as I didn’t need to drill through my fence to do it. I must admit I was skeptical at first, but these mounts are as (or better) strong and sturdy as anything available on the market! I will be back for more mounts as I’m adding a Fish Finder up front and will mount the Transducer to my Minn Kota Trolling Motor. Having started my career as a Machinist, I know quality work when I see it and for the money, you can’t beat these guys!

I spent a lot of time looking at the various pole-mount options offered by all the manufacturers. I wanted something that would allow me to assemble a portable solution that I could quickly and easily mount and remove from my microskiff, on the rare occasions I wanted a fishfinder along for the ride. I like to fabricate my own gear when possible and figured I would get some ideas from the existing DIY solutions folks have posted online, along with stealing ideas from the commercial offerings. I quickly zeroed-in on the solutions by Fishfinder Mounts as being the closest to what I thought I wanted. I eventually came to the conclusion that with the high cost of aluminum and the various components I would need, and all the time it would take to start machining my own parts, that I would just bite the bullet and spend the big bucks on a complete finished kit. Sure, a quick and dirty solution using aluminum extrusions and pvc was an option, but I decided I didn’t want to go that route. I have to say, even given the high cost, I’m thoroughly impressed with the quality of the mounts and components. I have an obsession with high-quality items with fine machining and great fit and finish. These products did not disappoint, and once having them in my hands it was far easier to justify the cost in my mind. Actually hurt just a little during assembly and thinking about putting them into use since that perfect anodizing and scratch-free surfaces would not stay that way. Really, not a sharp edge, pit, or nicked corner anywhere. You can tell that the owner/designer has an appreciation for finely engineered and perfectly machined assemblies like I do. At the moment the only thing I can think of that I wish they had in the product line is a mount specific to the Lowrance ActiveTarget transducer (& Hummingbird) like they have for the Garmin LiveScope. Having to use the bulky factory Lowrance mount with poor adjustability isn’t a good fit with an expensive and otherwise perfect setup. RyTek has a crazy expensive machined aluminum mount, or Summit Specialties has a cheap 3D printed mount. My 3D printer is giving me fits so I ordered their mount, and drilled and modified the “non-perspective cylinder” mount that came with my FishFinder Mounts purchase. The Summit Specialties mount design seems like a good one, although the 3D printed components may not hold-up long-term exposed to the sun day in and day out. I don’t have that durability concern about the components from FishFinder Mounts.

I bought a non-powered float tube mount for my Garmin Striker 4. The mount is less complex, lighter and work better than the improvised set up I had previously. Works perfectly and easy to install.

What an awesome experience. I emailed them with a problem I had (stern-mounted transducer getting knocked about in shallow water) and they identified a solution and the appropriate products to achieve it. Now I have a rail-mounted, pivoting transducer arm that I can easily drop in when I'm finishing and pull up when I'm navigating the shallows. Their passion for the product shows through in the exceptional quality and customer follow-up. I even accidentally ordered the wrong bracket type and they facilitated an exchange to get me the correct one. Would 100% recommend these guys to anyone with any sort of fish finder mount needs.

Wow! Wow! Wow! I ordered the Gen2 transducer arm and pole kit and it is top quality. I have gone through 2 of those plastic kayak transducer arms in the past 2years. This arm is exactly what I was looking for. Quality product and top quality customer service. Thanks

Louisiana Man ! 18 8 Ranger Aluminum . My Grandson and I installed a LVS 34 on the barrel of my trolling motor! It didn't take me long to find out that Spot Lock and Transducers don't mix very well ! I went searching for a transducer pole which was another experience ! Most of them were very cheap made . My Friend sent me to Fish Finders Mounts ! Working with Wade I was able to decide on the Gen 3 Transducer pole with the gear handle . Four trips on the water later I was hooked ! My 72 year old back doesn't have to fight the old type steering set up . Let the spot lock do its job and easily rotate the handle 360 degrees . It pivots on the deck mount for changing fishing spots on the water and easily detaches from the deck mount for trailering the boat .

Wow wow wow... just unpacked my Gen 3 transducer pole and fish finder mounting plate. Quality looks fantastic. Can't wait to get it installed. Should be very easy using your Alumacraft slide bracket. Thanks for making such robust gear.
