Hi Wade and folks there. Just wanted to let you know that my mount for my Garmin on my pontoon boat works great. I took the boat out this week and learned a lot about bottom structure and how to detect fish. Had some good success fishing too. I appreciated how the battery hooked right up to the power and then how it hooks right up to the charger. Your pre-work helps a lot! Thanks for your help and your good product!

I run my mount on a Caddis float tube with a Piranhamax sonar. The combination works great - best mounting solution out there. Great customer service and product, would absolutely recommend.

Last Nov. 2017 I spoke with Wade Van Pelt at Fish Finder Mounts.com about being able to attach my Lowrance Hook 7 fish finder to either a 16' aluminum boat or a 23' pontoon boat. My worry was being able to effectively clamp the magnets on the back of the pontoon boat. When I spoke with Wade this past week he said they just came out with the new 10 Ah 7.5 clamping pole fish finder mount kit. The product arrived within 4 days and was EVERYTHING as advertised. I especially love the 30" length of the telescoping pole holding the transducer. It will work perfectly on the pontoon boat. Would highly recommend their products!

How long ? It depend on your luck , maybe 8 months maybe 1 . I have instead used these magnetic transducer mount for many years and am very please with it. Flip it up, no water drag, Flip it down, fishing... These are super strong magnet, really need some force to separate them apart . It hold my Raymarine Dragonfly 7 transducer secured @ 5MPH under Hobie Mirage turbo drive no problem ! Well worth the investment . I have multiple kayaks, and transfer the fishfinder between these are a piece of cake. I just run the wires under the front hatch, no drill any holes.. I double epoxy the metal surface of the magnets so no rust can grow on it. Check it out .
