After reading all the favorable reviews, I called (great service, the fishfinder owner/product designer picked up the call); after a few questions, I ordered a fishmount for my fishing Hobie Revolution Mirage kayak. Like others, I have had my transducer gooped in the inner front hull. For more than 10 yrs, I have had bad luck, especially with Lorance products, not getting consistent accurate depth readings. Going to the fishmount product along with the Garmin Striker 4, wallah, now the depth reading is immediate with the transducer secured (by magnet) to the outer hull where I can reach it to flip up out of the water in shallow areas. Can't say enough good things about fish finder mounts. One of the best purchases I have made. Having 4 kayaks between the USA west coast and south pacific islands, I can take the depth finder when I travel and use the same unit on one of 4 boats of my choosing.

I was looking for a solid pole for my livescope transducer that would not flex when trolling. After a google search. I came across this pole/mount and figured I wouldn’t give it a try. So far, it has exceeded my expectations. Very rigid and does not flex. Have recommended it to others.
