Description

Bolt this magnetic transducer mount to the transom or side of your boat. The advantages of this product are:

1) can save your transducer from destruction when hitting hard unforgiving objects in the water or elsewhere
2) provides an ability to remove the transducer from your boat for various reason such as: A) theft prevention ($$$ saver) B) share your transducer among multiple watercraft ($$$ saver) C) protection during transport ($$$ saver)

Especially effective for inflatable zodiac style watercraft with wood transoms.  Usually a wood transom for boats as afforementioned whose transoms usually are an inch or thicker in material thickness.  The self-tapping screws will only pierce up to about a 1/4″ deep; so the screws do not pierce completely through the transom wall.
