A swivel plate is not needed unless you are mounting small finders 9" and smaller.
For 10" and larger finders, you can mount directly to this Bow Deck Mount.
For 7-9" finders, select the 7.5" Swivel Plate.
For finders smaller than 7", select the 4.5" Swivel Plate.
