About one year ago I purchased one of these mounts somewhat reluctantly for my float tube. I have been flyfishing out of float tubes for over 50 years and never saw the need for one. Last year was a game changer for me in the ability to locate fish particularly in lakes late in the summer when everyone else thought they were “fished out “. I not only located fish in a deep trough but my wife and I had amazing fishing success virtually all to ourselves. This spring I broke the bottom part of the mount that the strap goes through. I called Alex who not only made things right but told me about a quick release bottom plate which is much sturdier. I got my replacement parts in two days; simply amazing customer service! I purchased the Garmin Livescope mount. I struggled a little bit trying to figure out what I needed. So I called and they walked me right through it. I purchased mounts for 3 different boats a Pontoon , Tournament pro and flat bottom universal mount. I was a little skeptical at first with the price but was tired of make shift things that pretend to work. The guy I talked to was very knowledgeable and walked me through the whole thing. Once I got them and opened the box. I realized these people are LEGIT some of the best craftsman ship I have seen by far in any industry. Very strong and everything is almost universal to where it works with all parts. This is the first review I have left for anyone and even referred my boat dealer to them since everything Garmin is on back order. I have only tried it on 1 boat but tested moving it from one to another and only takes a couple min. This will help with guiding for sure. 10 out of 5 stars for this company. I wish there were more like them.

Purchased a control head mount and a clamp on transducer mount so I could attach my fish finder to my new jon boat without drilling holes. Product took 11-days to arrive (Florida) but it was well worth the wait. Both items are robustly made and just exude hi-tech sexiness, unlike the inferior junk you find nowadays on Amazon. The mounts weren't cheap but considering the quality it was money well spent. Well done fishfindermounts.com!

Awesome product. I pondered on which one I should buy for a while . I'm glad I went with the bolt on plate with the detachable magnets. I was always hitting my transducer off of logs and my trailer and breaking them, which is costly . The other day we were in shallow water and a friend of mine told me my transducer was about it hit a log, I rushed over, thinking I was going to break it . The magnets just popped off and nothing was broken . I run the transducer mount on my 14ft starcraft with a 2021 Yamaha 20hp . It does about 45kmh . And the magnets hold up great. It's never fallen off . I can also read the depth at top speed ! Highly recommend!
